This is done by developing and running a centre for IT incident reporting, Sweden’s IT Incident Centre – Sitic.
This centre is to
- set up a system for information exchange about IT incidents between the centre and public organisations
- quickly be able to disseminate information in society about new problems which may disrupt IT systems
- provide information and advice about preventative measures, and
- compile and publish statistics as supporting documentation to facilitate continual improvements to the preventative efforts.
