Today, nine out of ten Swedish residential customers have Internet connections.

PTS supervises Internet service providers to, for example, ensure that competition is functioning and that provisions concerning privacy protection are being complied with.

PTS's other tasks include working continuously to improve network robustness, as well as supporting the work of society as regards protection against IT incidents.
