Enisa

ENISA stands for the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security.

ENISA is actively contributing to a high level of network and information security (NIS) within the Union, thus contributing to proper functioning of the internal market. The Agency was established in 2004 and is based in Crete, Greece. ENISA has established a network of national contact persons who act as reference points in the Member States in matters concerning ENISA’s operations.

The national contact person for Sweden is Peter Wallström (peter.wallstrom@pts.se) at PTS. All EU countries also have representatives on ENISA’s board, where Sweden is represented by the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. There are also representatives from academia, industry and consumer organisations in ENISA’s Permanent Stakeholders Group, all of which provide proposals for work programmes.
