Temporary licences for events
Services used in connection to events are mobile video links, land mobile radio (LMR), wireless microphones and earth stations. A licence is required to use such radio transmitters.
The authority responsible for the planning and use of the radio spectrum in Sweden is the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority, PTS.
PTS is in charge of licensing of all types of radio transmitters. PTS endeavour to ensure that radio frequencies are available for the users and that the user can operate its equipment in a radio environment which is reasonably free of interference. The use of the radio spectrum must also be efficient.
